Meet John
A Conservative Republican with a Lifetime of Service
John M. Comerford is a husband of 54 years to a beautiful wife, father of four loving children, grandfather of five amazing grandchildren, and great-grandfather to two precious great-grandchildren.
He is a United States Air Force Veteran who served on active duty during the Vietnam era and received an honorable discharge. John was also a Chief Welfare Fraud Investigator, Safety Officer responsible for Campus Police at Westborough State Hospital, Head of Security at the Federal Buildings in both Springfield and Pittsfield, and an Investigator for the Massachusetts Office of the Attorney General.
More recently, as a State Certified Veterans' Agent, John assisted veterans and their families for 12 years in receiving the benefits to which they were entitled. This included obtaining Mass Chapter 115 benefits for many facing financial difficulties.
John would like to extend his years of service as a member of the Governor's Council for District 8. He will bring his conservative values to a council that is dominated by liberal Democrats.
Even with a Republican currently serving as Lt. Governor, the Council is overwhelmingly liberal in ideology, resulting in no diversity of thought for those who provide council to our Governor.
John will bring a strong voice, the voice of the people, to the council and represent the western half of the state which is largely overlooked by the politicians on Beacon Hill.
John would be honored to serve on your behalf and is humbly requesting your vote in the September 6th Primary and the November 8th General Elections.
